Nolton Haven Rocks 08/09/2007
Time: 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
Tide: HW-2 to HW+1. Neap tide.
Weather: Overcast. Steady north wind strong at times.
Sea: Calm, becomming choppy at times.
Tackle & Bait: Feathers again for mackerel. Beach rod ledger with king rag bait but no bites.
Fishing: Mackerel are becoming fewer.
Comments: Back to the rocks for another session after the mackerel before they disappear. Actually caught most Mackerel as the tide turned and started into the ebb. Would have thought that the rising tide would have been better. Tried the ledger in various places with king rag sometimes tipped with mackerel strip. Nothing at all - no bites and the bait not even touched.
