Nolton Haven Rocks 07/09/2007
Time: 6pm to 9pm.
Tide: HW+1 to LW-2. Ebb Neap tide.
Weather: Clear & sunny. Steady north wind.
Sea: Calm.
Tackle & Bait: Feathers for mackerel & pollack. Beach rod ledger with fish strip bait but no bites.
Fishing: Caught in one's and two's again. Pollack caught about 5 metres out.
Comments: Good evening fishing with mackerel biting all over the place. Sometimes taking feathers just after they hit the water on a long cast, other times biting within a few metres of the rocks. Stayed till after dark but no bites on the ledger.
