Morfa Bychan (115 Mackerel, 1 Dogfish)

Morfa Bychan 26/09/2007
Time: 4.00pm to 7.30pm.
Tide: HW-3 to HW+1. Spring tide.
Weather: Clear, sunny, north wind but sheltered.
Sea: Calm in the bay, no swell.
Tackle & Bait: Pennel with squid & mackerel head. Feat
Fishing: Maccy madness!!
Comments: So this is where the mackerel have been hiding from me all summer! They came in on the tide after the whitebait which was throwing itself onto the stones. Every cast was bringing a string of mackerel in. They are mostly small, with some larger ones. Ideal as I needed bait for winter fishing and these are fine. Met a pair doing livebaiting and this time they landed a good size bass from the rocks on the right hand side.
